Simera Sense and Space Inventor have formed a strategic partnership to deliver high-performance optical payloads for small satellite missions. This collaboration gives Earth observation operators the ability to capture sharper images using compact, reliable CubeSat platforms.
Under the agreement, Space Inventor will integrate Simera Sense’s advanced CubeSat cameras into its product portfolio. As a result, customers can access cutting-edge imaging technology designed for CubeSat and microsatellite missions.
The partnership combines two strengths: Simera Sense’s high-resolution optical payloads and Space Inventor’s proven satellite platforms with rapid time-to-orbit. Together, they aim to meet the growing demand for Earth observation in the NewSpace sector. This includes tailored performance, quick design iterations, and short lead times.
In addition, Space Inventor’s onboard computing systems and optical gigabit downlink will boost CubeSat mission efficiency. This reduces common limitations in small satellite imaging and improves overall mission value.
Simera Sense’s xScape100 and xScape200 product ranges set a new benchmark in remote sensing. Their large apertures and long focal lengths, built into compact CubeSat designs, deliver exceptional spatial resolution from orbit.
“At Simera Sense, we are expanding into new markets with local support,” says Johann du Toit, CEO of Simera Sense. “Working with Space Inventor extends our reach and enables cost-effective, end-to-end solutions that make high-quality Earth observation data accessible to more customers.”
“We are proud to work with Simera Sense, a leader in optical payloads,” adds Jacob M. Nissen, Chief Sales Officer at Space Inventor. “This partnership strengthens our range and lets us offer turnkey Earth observation platforms with world-class imaging.”
