As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are looking for a dynamic Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy and enhancing performance across our international footprint. Working closely with the Group Financial Manager and the broader Finance and Administration team, the CFO will be pivotal in guiding the financial and governance direction of Simera Sense. Main Responsibilities:
The role will focus on three main pillars. Working with the CEO and Board, defining and management of the financial strategy, implementation and oversight of sound financial processes and lastly overseeing the corporate governance processes.
Profile and qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience
- Experience working with investors and maintaining Board relations.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; proficiency in French is a plus. Strong communication skills with various stakeholders (investors, management, and team members).
- CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification is highly advantageous.
- Extensive knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of strategic financial management, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting to private equity investors.
- Experience managing financial operations across multiple geographic regions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while effectively managing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
