The xScape100 is Simera Sense’s 1.5U optical payload for CubeSat Earth Observation, achieving 4.75 m GSD and 19.4 km swath from 500 km orbit. It is designed for mission operators who need sub-5 m resolution without the form factor or cost of a larger satellite platform.
All three share the same 1.5U size, 4.75 m GSD, and 19.4 km swath. The TriScape100 is a snapshot imager capturing RGB imagery and video. The MultiScape100 is a line scan imager capturing 8-band VNIR multispectral imagery. The HyperScape100 captures hyperspectral imagery using 32 VNIR spectral bands, configurable on-the-fly out of a total of 400.
At 4.75 m GSD, each pixel covers a 4.75 × 4.75 m area on the ground. This is sufficient to resolve individual buildings and their footprints, vessels and large vehicles, road networks, agricultural field boundaries and crop rows, and coastline detail. It crosses the threshold from situational awareness into actionable data for most commercial EO applications.

Yes. The HyperScape100 features in-orbit reconfigurability — band selection can be adjusted from the ground after launch. This means your mission can adapt to new applications as your requirements change.

The xScape50 is a 1U camera achieving 30 m GSD with the widest swath (120 km) — best for wide-area coverage. The xScape100 is 1.5U, achieving 4.75 m GSD and the widest swath in the range (19.4 km) — the balanced choice for most EO missions. The xScape200 is 12U, achieving 1.5 m GSD for sub-2 m resolution missions.

Yes. Simera Sense provides a complete image processing pipeline including radiometric calibration, orthorectification, and band registration — converting raw sensor output into analysis-ready data products. This is included as part of the xScape100 ecosystem, removing the need for a separate processing vendor or custom pipeline development.
